Thrivent Faith-Based Managed Portfolios

Growth for accumulation
These portfolios, built by Thrivent Asset Management, LLC are designed for investors looking to align their finances with how they live and what they believe by seeking to avoid investments in companies that may conflict with their values. They are fully diversified and are focused on asset accumulation. They are designed for a range of risk tolerances, to help you continue meeting your financial goals as they evolve over time.

Key points

Integrate finances with faith

The models are designed for investors looking to align their finances with how they live and what they believe by seeking to avoid investments in companies that may conflict with their values, such as those associated with gambling, adult entertainment, abortion and the manufacturing or distribution of alcohol and tobacco products.

Christian asset management firms

Thrivent Asset Management, LLC (TAM) has constructed portfolios that include products from several Christian asset management firms that approach investing from a faith-based perspective. Each of these firms is responsible for determining and implementing its own screening process. This collection of asset managers creates a unique combination of investment expertise and experience to help people invest with purpose.

Strategic & tactical allocations

TAM conducts extensive quantitative research to build long-term strategic models calibrated for multiple risk levels. Senior leadership meets regularly to discuss and determine tactical allocations based on current and expected market conditions as well as macroeconomic factors, technical indicators and fundamental data.

What is a values-based approach?

TAM selects investment products that TAM believes do not invest in securities that may conflict with certain commonly held Christian values, either as a result of a screening process or because the securities that may conflict with certain commonly held Christian values are not found in a particular asset class, such as government and municipal bonds. In general, TAM selects products it believes do not invest in companies such as those associated with gambling, adult entertainment, abortion and the manufacturing or distribution of alcohol or tobacco products.
