Video transcript

Ethan Hertzfeld: Hello and welcome to today’s edition of What’s The Fund. I’m joined live on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange today by Kyle DeTullio from Thrivent Asset Management. Kyle, thanks for being here today.

Kyle Detullio: Thanks for having me.

Hertzfeld: So, tell me, what ETF are we talking about?

Detullio: Today we’re talking about the Thrivent Small Cap Value ETF, ticker symbol TSCV.

Hertzfeld: So, tell me, what does someone need to know about the strategy?

Detullio: Well, TSCV is an actively managed ETF, seeking to invest in sound and improving businesses that are growing their intrinsic value at an attractive rate and are run by capable, well-aligned management teams. We're looking to invest in these companies when we think that they’re trading at price levels well below our estimate of their intrinsic value and that the potential upside, far outweighs the potential downside. Now these views are informed by our proprietary research and our multi-year investment horizon which really focuses on understanding the long run positioning and earnings power of the companies we’re investing in. And it’s really this long-term view that allows us to look past the noise that exists in the small cap space and actually use that volatility to our advantage.

Hertzfeld: Sounds awesome. If someone wanted to learn more about this product, where can we go to find that information?

Detullio: You can visit our website, thriventETFs.com.

Hertzfeld: Awesome. Well Kyle, thank you for joining me today and thank you for tuning into this edition of What’s the Fund?
