A brief overview of Thrivent Mid Cap Value ETF (TMVE)—an actively managed ETF focused on mid‑cap value opportunities using a fundamentals‑based, research‑driven investment approach. Featured in the NYSE What’s the Fund? series.

Video transcript

Ethan Hertzfeld: Hello and welcome to the floor of the New York Stock Exchange for today’s edition of What’s the Fund? I’m joined by Kyle DeTullio from Thrivent Asset Management today. Kyle, thanks for joining me.

Kyle Detullio: Thanks for having me.

Hertzfeld: So, tell me what ETF were we talking about?

Detullio: Today we’re talking about the Thrivent Mid Cap Value ETF, ticker TMVE.

Hertzfeld: So, tell an investor more about this ETF? What do they need to know?

Detullio: So, TMVE is an actively managed ETF seeking to invest in companies with improving operational fundamentals and favorable risk/return outlooks. Our team looks at industry trends and company-specific positioning to assess these fundamentals and all of our investment decisions are backed by this proprietary research which gives us clarity and conviction on those decisions.

Our process also specifically looks to avoid value traps, which can be the Achilles heel of value investing. So, we look for companies that have a catalyst to unlock that value for making any investment. Lastly, our process should recommend that any specific investment has an upside, a potential upside that is many multiples of its potential downside for any company to make it into our portfolio.

Hertzfeld: That sounds super interesting. If someone wanted to learn more about that product, work and they find that information.

Detullio: You can visit our website at thriventETFs.com.

Hertzfeld: Awesome. Well, Kyle, thank you for joining me today. And thank you for tuning into this edition of What’s The Fund.
