TSME

Thrivent Small-Mid Cap ESG ETF*

As an ETF, this product may offer specific benefits including: a more efficient tax structure, increased liquidity, lower costs, and no investment minimums.

* This ETF is different from traditional ETFs. Traditional ETFs tell the public what assets they hold each day. This ETF will not. This may create additional risks for your investment. For example:

Click for more important info. >
  • You may have to pay more money to trade the ETF’s shares. This ETF will provide less information to traders, who tend to charge more for trades when they have less information.
  • The price you pay to buy ETF shares on an exchange may not match the value of the ETF’s portfolio. The same is true when you sell shares. These price differences may be greater for this ETF compared to other ETFs because it provides less information to traders.
  • These additional risks may be even greater in bad or uncertain market conditions.
  • The ETF will publish on its website each day a “Proxy Portfolio” designed to help trading in shares of the ETF. While the Proxy Portfolio includes some of the ETF’s holdings, it is not the ETF’s actual portfolio.

The differences between this ETF and other ETFs may also have advantages. By keeping certain information about the ETF secret, this ETF may face less risk that other traders can predict or copy its investment strategy. This may improve the ETF’s performance. If other traders are able to copy or predict the ETF’s investment strategy, however, this may hurt the ETF’s performance. For additional information regarding the unique attributes and risks of the ETF, see the Principal Risks section of the prospectus.

1 4-Star Morningstar RatingTM for the 3- and 5-year periods out of 384 and 359 funds, respectively. 5-Star Morningstar RatingTM for the 10-year period out of 235 funds. All ratings are based on risk-adjusted performance.

2 3-Star Morningstar RatingTM for the 3-year period out of 560 funds. 4-Star Morningstar RatingTM for the 5-year period out of 525 funds. All ratings are based on risk-adjusted performance.

3 5-Star Morningstar RatingTM for the 3- and 5-year periods out of 596 and 551 funds, respectively. 5-Star Morningstar RatingTM for the 10-year period out of 380 funds. All ratings are based on risk-adjusted performance.

The Morningstar Rating™ for funds, or "star rating", is calculated for managed products (including mutual funds, variable annuity and variable life subaccounts, exchange-traded funds, closed-end funds, and separate accounts) with at least a three-year history. Exchange-traded funds and open-ended mutual funds are considered a single population for comparative purposes. It is calculated based on a Morningstar Risk-Adjusted Return measure that accounts for variation in a managed product’s monthly excess performance, placing more emphasis on downward variations and rewarding consistent performance. The top 10% of products in each product category receive 5 stars, the next 22.5% receive 4 stars, the next 35% receive 3 stars, the next 22.5% receive 2 stars, and the bottom 10% receive 1 star. The Overall Morningstar Rating for a managed product is derived from a weighted average of the performance figures associated with its three-, five-, and 10-year (if applicable) Morningstar Rating metrics. The weights are: 100% three-year rating for 36-59 months of total returns, 60% five-year rating/40% three-year rating for 60-119 months of total returns, and 50% 10-year rating/30% five-year rating/20% three-year rating for 120 or more months of total returns. While the 10-year overall star rating formula seems to give the most weight to the 10-year period, the most recent three-year period actually has the greatest impact because it is included in all three rating periods.

Thrivent Small-Mid Cap ESG ETF is newly formed and does not have any operating history.

Small and medium-sized companies often have greater price volatility, lower trading volume, and less liquidity than larger, more established companies.

Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.
